The9 Limited and Blizzard Entertainment® today announced that Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft®, the subscription-based Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game has achieved record peak concurrency of 800,000, highest concurrency since the game's commercial launch in June 2005, after launching its new expansion pack, "The Burning Crusade", in mainland China on September 6, 2007.

Shares of The9 Ltd. rose Thursday after the Chinese online gaming company and Blizzard Entertainment Inc. said Blizzard's "World of Warcraft" game reached a record 800,000 simultaneous users.
